Have you considered talking about The Motherhood Manifesto? Haven't looked to see if it appears in the Show Archives... If you have, when? If not, check out momsrising.org

Thanks!

Your discussion about upstate NY and your husband who considers it to be the mecca of existence made me smile.

I live in Tucson, AZ and every year in August, when the average temperature is 150 degrees, I follow my husband around the house citing reason after reason why we should move to Rochester. I tend to calm down in late October when the Rochester kids are celebrating Halloween in their ski jackets.

I am a friend of Dan Klass of The Bitterest Pill and I wanted to recommend it to your Irondquoit husband, but I see you've already found it.

I'm looking forward to your shows-
Ann

What about a breast cancer related story when it isn't October? I know, that may sound a bit crazy, but I think making an issue of breast cancer all year round is so important. My grandmother and mother both survived it, although my grandmother has since passed away. I have a terrifying sense of what could happen to me or my daughter; and I can't imagine I am the only one with fears such as these. Just a thought. If my kids can say, "Save the Tatas" all year round, why can't we?
