Are Working Women Stuck in the 50s?
Tuesday, March 06, 2007

I don't consider myself much of an activist, but this article in The Nation has me ready to march down to Washington. Of course, I'd have to find someone to watch my kids first, but that's a minor technicality. I have to properly credit Meredith O'Brien since her MommyTrack'd column directed me here.

What's more infuriating than the content of the article itself are the comments. Seriously, what's a mom to do? So many mixed messages, so little time.

Another good article worth reading is this New York Times Magazine article on what the EU is doing to provide women with more flexibility in their work lives.

Thanks for the post, that article made me hopping mad, which is good. What can we do to get involved?
