“Notes from the Underbelly” premieres tonight (April 12th) on ABC at 10pm. A new comedy by the creators of “2 and a Half Men” it’s a sitcom take on life’s greatest adventure—parenthood. Andrew and Lauren (Peter Cambor and Jennifer Westfeld) have just found out they are having a baby and they’re having a tough time keeping it a secret.

They quickly learn what we already know, attending a cocktail party and turning down a drink is a dead giveaway. (The Manic Mommies suggest getting a glass of wine and carrying it around with you—sipping from the glass only when others are looking at you and then leaving it in the bathroom or on the bar.)

We saw an early preview of the show and while the potential is there, we can only say we are optimistic it will get better.
