My daughter's pajamas
Tuesday, January 15, 2008

These are the pajamas my daughter was wearing last week. Looking over this questionable ensemble - a thermal underwear shirt that is at least two sizes too small matched with shorts that, while they do fit, are from her summer pajamas - I could only hope that she had dressed herself.

Nice pajamas

Sharing the photo with my husband later that night, I soon found out I was wrong. He had dressed our daughter for bed himself.

I guess it could be worse. He could have sent her to school in this outfit.

Kristin,
Your commentary made me laugh out loud! I sometimes wonder how my hubby manages to coordinate his outfits but seems at a total loss for J.

Last night, my husband put my 9 month old daughter in a Newborn onesie and then presented her to me, saying, "I'm not sure. I think this may be too small."

Poor girl had the onesie so stretched over her frame she could barely move. I had to reach down and unsnap the bottom snaps just so she could breathe properly! Since it fit well enough around (it just wasn't long enough), I just left her in it, as a sleeping shirt.

I think I almost peed my pants! My two year old son insists on continuing to wear his Cars pajamas, even though they resemble Sophie's top. Keep the laughs coming!

I just was crying laughing so hard. I had to show all my (menopausal) co-workers who totally didn't think it was quite as humorous as I did.
