Should You Spy on Your Kids?

I'm asking this over on the Simply Stated blog. Tell me what you think in the comments over there. Am I the only one who finds this equally repulsive, intriguing and attractive?

Would you install parental monitoring spyware on your family's computer? If you did, would you let your kid know about it?
