This was SUCH a great show and there were so many things I'd love to chime in on but there is one thing I must say: Erin, do NOT buy the purple purse! While one bright color can say 'smart and pulled together', adding more (even complementary ones) will scream 'suburban mom' and 'I shop at Target' (not there's anything wrong with that :) )!
stick with neutrals and the one bold color choice! Just my two cents! :)

Still listening to this show and I haven't even gotten to the part about the stuff you love (I would love a show on what you hate by the way) but I had to comment on the weird plastic Easter grass, which I agree is one of the most annoying, useless things ever invented to torture moms. There is a more Earth-friendly alternative that I have started doing not only for Easter but for any gift that requires some sort of decorative filler, like instead of tissue paper in gift bags. I think I read this in Martha Stewart or Real Simple or something: take colored paper (if you're fancy, use pretty paper, or if you're like me, maybe some of the ten thousand flyers from your kids' school that are printed on colored copy paper?) and run them through your paper shredder. Voila, Easter grass! Afterwards, it's all set for recycling or the compost bin. Hooray!

Loved the show! I agree about the Easter basket grass, my sister-in-law bought edible Easter grass for her daughters basket at wal-mart this year. I tried to find it again to give you guys a brand name, but since Easter has now passed it is gone. You can find it on many websites though just by googling edible Easter grass. Hope this might help for next year.
