I took this picture of Brendan the other day with his snuggle cow. I am not sure that it is actually a cow, but that's what we call it. I introduced snugglies to both of my boys when they were only three weeks old. Tommy is nearly six and he still sleeps with baby duck, the little bean bag stuffed duck someone gave him as a baby gift. Brendan's snuggly toy was made by Manhattan Baby, a company that no longer makes the product. Snuggle cow was a gift from my friend Maura who swore that her son Sean could not go anywhere without his. Luckily for me I have managed (somehow) to not loose track of snuggle cow after three years.

We recently received a Zoobie here at Manic Mommies and I think it's a genius combination of lovable stuffed animal and practical blanket—all wrapped into a neat, soft and tidy package. It would make the perfect gift for a new mom. We're giving one away this week to a lucky Manic Mommies member.
