I heard about this on NPR yesterday. I've always wondered about the best way to acknowledge a soldier in the airport. Have you?

Now you know.

Erin, thank you so much for this. As the spouse of a soldier who has been to the desert and makes sacrifices every day to support our country.....a heartfelt thank you to you for keeping this in people's consciousness.

Thanks, Erin. This is awesome! It's so great to know that people still want to say thanks. It means a lot to the people serving and, believe me, word of public ackowledgement travels quickly through the units. I remember how it blew my mind to be personally thanked - it made me cry. So much for military bearing! =)
