By the time you read this, I will be cruising the Mass Turnpike and NY Thruway with the family. This weekend is our annual summer trip to Rochester to visit the in-laws and drop Tommy for a week of day camp with his cousin. It's a summer ritual I hope will continue for years to come. Tommy really enjoys his special time with his Nana, Papa David, Aunt, Uncle and cousins. And it's nice that they all live in the same town. We don't have that here in Massachusetts, where my nearest sister is an hour away by car.
For all its snow in the winter, Rochester is beautiful in the summer. The kids love to get Abbot's Frozen Custard and feed the ducks by the Erie Canal. And my sister-in-law always hires a babysitter so we can sneak in an adult-only dinner a some point during the weekend.
So before I go, here are some finds worth sharing for this week:
At My LIttle Pakora the baby clothing is made from certified organic cotton that's grown using sustainable farming techniques, without the use of toxic pesticides and fertilizers. My friend Tania helped design some of the adorable pieces. Aren't they so cute? The entire line is certified by the Control Union Certification (SKAL) and their dyeing processes are eco-friendly, with low-impact, AZO-free dyeing.

JIF is hosting their 7th Annual Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest and the winner gets a $25,000 college scholarship. Do you have a budding young chef in your kitchen? Click here for official rules and entry info.
Looking for a fun party idea? I snagged this link from my pal Lisa at Peppers and Pollywogs. I am definitely telling Kristin she must hold a Wii bowling tournament. Doesn't this look like fun? BTW, the hostess with the mostess blog is filled with fabulous ideas. Warning: click over to this site when you have the time to get sucked in.

Have a great weekend everyone!
