Thanks so much for your list! I am definitely checking some of these out. My favorite new thing is my DrinkWorks cocktail machine by Keurig!!! It’s perfect for me—I love cocktails but don’t have a well-stocked bar (one bottle of gin and one of vodka and usually no juice or mixers on hand), so this gives me bar quality cocktails in a wide variety whenever I’m feeling like a happy hour! I bought a 16 cocktail starter pack to sample everything, and will stock up later on my favorites. Genius.
Finally managed to listen to this one and was amused to hear about your dogs and delivery people. My dog starts whining when he sees (or hears) the FedEx truck, the UPS truck, the USPS truck, or the Amazon Prime truck down the street because he thinks we’re getting a package. If the truck stops, he gets more excited and stays at the window until the package has been delivered, at which point he runs to the front door and barks to summon us to retrieve the package. Once it’s inside, he starts scratching to try to get it open. But if a package truck drives past and does not provide a package? Then he barks in hopes of convincing them to return: “hey, you forgot my package!” These days most package people don’t ring our doorbell, but they don’t need to thanks to our package-alert miniature poodle warning system. 😉
