Growing Up Online
January 20, 2008

From Club Penguin and WebKinz to MySpace and Facebook, kids today are growing up online. If you are listening to podcasts, chances are good that you are relatively tech-savvy. If you are not familiar with the latest technology, how can you know what your kids are up to? This week we talk with Rachel Dretzin, producer of the upcoming Frontline documentary "Growing Up Online," about the potential risks, realities and misconceptions of the Internet. It's not just strangers we need to worry about. In many cases, it's the "friends." Watch the entire documentary Tuesday, January 22 at 9pm, on PBS. Or stream the video online at pbs.org/frontline.
